GHOST in Wheel Chair comes to the Rescue (True Story)

Randy and his family are out camping in the woods. While his parents set up their equipment, Randy wanders off to collect worms to use as fishing bait, and is attacked by a rattlesnake. As Randy panics, a quadriplegic man in a wheelchair comes to his rescue and introduces himself as a doctor. He gives Randy first aid instructions on how to remove the venom from his body, teaching him how to use a yellow extractor to succk the venom out. Randy manages to save himself, and as he continues sucking the venom out, the doctor disappears; as Randy wonders where he went, he dozes off, but is later awakened by his parents’ calls.

As he is given antivenom, Randy tells his parents and the paramedics about the quadriplegic doctor he encountered. One of the paramedics tells the family that the doctor Randy encountered was none other than Doctor John Byrd, who had died ten years prior. He reveals that Byrd was an intelligent local in their town who had a dream to become a doctor who could help the townsfolk. Although he graduated from medical school and obtained his license after passing the board exams, he was not able to practice his profession after a terrible vehicular accident on his way back to the town caused him to become a quadriplegic for the rest of his life.

It is then suspected that John Byrd might have been a spirit, or that he feigned his de@th and is still alive, living as a hermit in the woods.
