The LCS is a ten team league in North America run by Riot Games, where each annual season of competition is hosted twice a year (Spring and Summer Split). It concludes with a double-elimination tournament between the top 8 teams. The top 3 finishers from the Summer bracket are entered into the LoL World Championship.

  1. liquorice was great, but palafox played out of his mind, and id give draft to NRG, jayce is great but doesnt do quite as much without maokai on his side… yea maokai's pretty strong, and kasan'tai does kasan'tai things

  9. Often, the problem is that LCS teams lack a shotcaller or don't follow a single call. This time, there was a clear and agreed-upon call by the entire team, but now the problem was that the call was just so bad. 😂 As soon as they headed toward mid lane, I facepalmed as I watched the short death timers tick down. GG has to go through 3 turrets plus inhib plus nexus with so few minions and so little time and HP, they can't be this bad at estimating end game scenarios… can they? Who else knew (in real time, not hindsight) that they had no chance of ending there? I refuse to believe I'm the only one or that it was that close of a call, when it was so glaringly obvious they needed to go Baron there. My god, it's impossible to be optimistic about LCS teams when these are the decisions they make. 🤦‍♂ Worlds any% speedrun, here we come again!
