Get Set Go TreeTop Adventure is a Premier Rides Powered Monorail ride that opened in 2014 when CBeebies Land opened. It originally opened in 1996 as Squirrel Nutty Ride in an area known as Storybook Land.
Guests travelled around on Acorns that contained a set of pedals which guests had to use to propel themselves faster round the track. The pedals were later removed and the ride remained unchanged until it closed in 2013 reappearing as Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure with the CBeebies Bugbies
Get Set Go was a block of programs shown on the BBC CBeebies Tv channel in the mornings presented by Sidney Sloane and Andy Day from Andy’s Adventures. The block was designed for kids to set a morning routine and included shows such as In The Night Garden, Teletubbies, Go Jetters, Octonauts Hey Duggee, Furchester Hotel, Bing, Peter Rabbit, Charlie and Lila and many more.
CBeebies Land is based on the BBC children’s TV channel CBeebies which opened 24th May 2014 and is located at Alton Towers Theme Park. The CBeebies Land area includes rides, shows and interactive experiences based on programmes from CBeebies. CBeebies Land replaced Storybook Land and Old MacDonald’s Farmyard. The new CBeebies Land was officially opened by Mr Tumble himself, Justin Fletcher.
There are three new attractions for 2022 at CBeebies Land Alton Towers. Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge replacing Tree Fu Tom Training Camp, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig has replaced Mr Bloom’s Allotment, and JoJo and Gran Gran at Home has replaced Charlie and Lola’s Moonsquirters & Green Drops.
