Disclaimer: There are many ways to make gold in new world these are just some of the ways I do it personally. Not trying to brag just here to share tips and help others get their gold up.
Tips: Find the perfect market to sell what you enjoy doing most. If you like to mine, try to get a mining set for void ore drops, cinnabar, or pristine gems. If you like to harvest go for whatever herbs/food are most expensive on your market for me that's paprika, garlic, dill, strawberries. If you like to fish try to level up and catch the legendaries they go for over 400g a piece on my server. All professions have their own ways to be profitable.
Price your items accordingly, psychologically people will go for things that are 5 gold or so cheaper, use numbers like 99, 75, 45, 25 for cents. All auctions should be 1-3 days max, the chances that you will be undercut within 14 days is a lot higher. Know what time you should be posting, taking down items and repost them at high selling / busy prime time hours at the trading post. You'll get a lot more sales. Scared money don't make money, if you're a flipper you need to put in money to make more. If a sector is really cheap, buy it out and set the price but make sure the supply on the auction house is low. Look for items that you personally use or buy, if they're expensive find a way to supply the people.
Learn to diversify, don't get stuck selling just one thing. You will profit more if you're able to dabble in different things. Try not to be a hoarder, lots of people have items in their inventory just sitting there while things depreciate. Sell now, save some, reinvest and find new markets to target.
Also, I forgot to mention SET GOALS! Things are a lot more achievable when you have a target in mind. My goal was 100k by the end of the month and I reached it a few days early. Not sure but iron ingots take 4 iron ore to make so are you factoring that in and not instead selling the ore? Which is not 1/4 of the price its going for more, or is there something im missing / different on your server. Cool vid ty
