This was probably my favorite fight in the game, atmosphere wise. The music, the ambience, and the setting didn't match up what you're used to. Instead of fighting for your life to fulfill a prophecy or save the world, you're instead tasked with the grim charge of laying an ancient beast (possibly a diety?) to its final rest, as it tests you to ensure that you are worthy.
This fight, and this area, made me realize just how special Elden Ring is.
