CCU Warning: This specific guide to an A2 Hercules is an end of line upgrade and you will lose the opportunity to upgrade to a Polaris (or anything else as well). Both the A2 Hercules & the Polaris are $US750 and at the top of the CCU chain. No one wants an A2 and everyone wants a Polaris – so know this guide will kill options afterwards.
The reality though: this game promise is 11 years old (with no stated end to completion) where you're not buying discounts on a game. Instead you're buying discounts on how much money you'll lose in a scam. Chris Roberts was removed by Microsoft (for promising big and never delivering (with Freelancer 20 years ago). There's a precedent with this guy.
Got myself a Perseus at 70% discount a couple of days ago using old ccu's lying around. I have a couple of vanguard warden to banu merchantman ccu's. That alone is like $400 dollar saving rofl.
I got a Caterpillar for only $45!
I just got my Liberator for $114 less.
There were some reasonable chains this Invictus even if I feel like some of the warbond sales were weren't quite as good. My existing chains were a little rough between the Corsair (250) and Caterpillar (330) this sale allowed us to slip the Eclipse in there, so I melted the CCUs I had to Caterpillars and swapped them with WB eclipses to WB cats.
Most of my chains are about complete but I stupidly started most of them with G12 to Cyclone MT so now I need to wait for the G12 to go on sale again and hopefully not raise in price vs picking a stable always on sale ship like the 300i. If you don't have the LTI tokens though I could imagine the G12 being sold as the LTI ship with a 5 dollar WB discount when it comes out.

Lynx LTI = $5 savings. Vulture = $15 not $5 saving. Total savings from todays offerings alone = $205. Thanks for putting this together though.
I was really hoping for an M2 warbond to fit between my Prowler -> 600i warbond and my 2 year old M2 -> Merchantman CCUs.
about to try and get the caterpillar, just noticed lync is on warbond at $55 with lifetime insurance does this count towards the arrow upgrade?
You can't achieve similar 'savings' with credit, just over much longer time frames. If you purchase ccus to ships soon to increase in price and leave them in your hanger you can apply them to see great jumps in value. The Vulture is a good recent example. A $5 CCU to the Vulture purchased prior to release becomes $35 more valuable after its price increased by that amount.

So how does this work if I have no store credit? Thats ehat Im not understanding. Only time Uve ever used the CCU feature was to get the Retaliatoe with an LTI token
The bad thing here is that we have to spend New Money and not Credits look after we get another System then I might start spending new money but I have been part of the project sense the start and for last 4 years now Pyro was suppose to release and yet we are still one System.
I love the aspect and everything with the game but I am tired of this New ship, New Ship but when it comes down to New Patch's we are moving SLOW its same old thing just another day with CIG and yes I know these patch's have added things but look at what else it added all the bugs that kill you 98% of Deaths are from a BUG not players or Ai.
Again not against the game just think people should shut the Wallet for a month or two to show CIG that Community is getting very impatient with the same System that released 8 years ago and not moved.
