hey just a tip you do not need to go to settings to go back to character selection screen, just click your character portrait then click the "…" and you will have the option to either leave game or change name.
I see them giving you nothing with a class change. They have nothing to gain by converting gear and gems on a class change.

So let me guess this guy thinks we must play over the game on other characters and it's fun how stupid do these people think we are,and these people don't think what happens if server is dead,and these people don't do what they are telling us to do.
100% it's already been confirmed that you will not have any option to convert your legendary gems when you do a class change, and you will have to grind for new legendary armour and weapons too. I'm no Diablo Immortal content creator but I do expect content creators to at the very least keep up to date with the very little news the devs have shared, especially if you're making guides and making money off making Diablo Immortal content through monetising your videos.
