  1. German covert operations were the highest IQ military maneuvers in history but get ZERO attention because they were the "bad guys" (they weren't). Instead YouTuber hacks like Mark Felton just tell the same dimwitted Allied victory tale 10 times a month that we have already heard before over a hundred times.

  2. "If the British soldiers on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 could look forward to the end of the century and see what England has become…
-they would not have bothered to advance another 40 yards up the beach"

  3. The Brandenburgers routinely wore the uniforms of the enemy so they could sneak up on them. This is by tradition a breach of the rules of war and those who did so and were captured were routinely shot as war criminals.

  4. Basically, the Brandenburgers had no special equipment – only the parachute fighter battalion had jump helmets, so they could not be identified, but everyone had either enemy uniform and army uniform underneath – half camouflage – and a pistol and hand grenades

  5. I have never heard of The Brandenburgers Special Forces, which is surprising as much studying I've done on the Eastern Front. Thanks for bring this unit to my attention. Hollywood would never make a movie about these guys.

  6. There was a ebook I was listening to, which was about Brandenburger. It was really really good and talked about his time in Yugoslavia to Greece. On point he talked about search for bridges for hours, looking like a madman between the Wehrmacht doing their thing.
