I think the problem with these things is that they are for shooting down large drones, as the drones get smaller these things will quickly become redundant.
Imagine these trying to knock down a drone that is around 2 inches, if the new power systems come online there will be long flying drones smaller than 2 inches, they may not have guns but they may carry other weapons that could cause big problems.
Small is the way drones are going, and like insects would be very difficult to catch, especially if they carried poison and was coated with barbs.
All these blablabla is because it hasn't yet meet with Iranian drones.
