NATO stands in Putin’s way so that he cannot recreate the Soviet Union. He should call the army back to Russia now because NATO is committed to defending Ukraine and in response to the imperialistic invasion both Sweden and Finland are joining NATO. Anymore than Russia was "in" the Vietnam War while providing North Vietnam with massive numbers of: tanks, artillery, SAM systems and Migs.
