  2. Russian war history is all about leader fucck ups and the peasants saving the day with cheap but effective counter measures. Exactly what is going on in his war. West sends it's superioir weapons russian troops on ground simply absorb new tactics. But it comes with lot of dead bodies and i believe Putin don't care about casuality right now

  3. Regarding the question of the effects of artillery against modern tanks, it's been tested. The US Army did tests of 155mm vs. M1s in the 80s. A 155mm that merely lands in close proximity is capable of penetrating the side armour and disabling the tank. Direct hits can destroy them. Almost all of the improvement in armour that has happened in successive tank models since the 80s have been to frontal armour. Tracks were off course frequently disabled or destroyed.

  4. the leopards sure are a gift to ukraine logistical problems apart ukraine need armor even if its just to cycle with theyr current one while some tanks are in the front the rest are repairing or something like that idk, but ukraine needs them, as for how they will fare agaisnt russian armour and the possibility of being overwhelmed as long as the area is scouted and they know roughly how many there are i think it wont be much of a problem, the germans also where overwhelmed when the allies invaded, and yet a single tiger would run out of ammo before dying, ofc the russian tanks arent that bad, but they are nowhere near the leopards, wioth proper infantry support with atgms, and proper air coverage these leopards will absolutely destroy the russians.

  5. We all assume that the Western tanks will be commanded by Ukrainian troops previously trained in NATO countries, but what if they are not?
I fear that the crew will be made up of NATO "volunteers".
    NATO is a great liar.

  6. For everyone who, somehow, still believes Russia will win: the invasion of Czechoslovakia lasted 1 Day. The War in Georgia lasted 16 days. Russia used good strategies and some of their best stuff against Ukraine in the first Day of the "3-day Special Operation". It was supposed to last 3 days. In the West no one thought Ukraine would last more than a week….it's going to be 1 year since the invasion started and Russia has lost most of the territories gained. How Is that winning? At least be like China and stop caring about Putin and his Russia.

  7. I still wish a lot of these people would bring up Azov and Right Sector and their actions back in 2014, a lot of people use the phrase "unprovoked" when referring to Russia in this conflict.

  8. Ukraine will definitely have a hard time maintaining these western tanks. But considering they’re fighting the russians, who struggle to maintain their own tanks, they shouldn’t fair too bad.

  9. 🔴 Ukrainians are drilled and trained never to throw Leopard 2 into battle alone but always in combination with Marder/Bradley IFV and their accompanying infantry. (grenadiers) . It can be assumed that at least one Gepard SPAAG will be there to protect against reconnaissance drones. The background is also the better optics and night-fighting ability of western tanks

  10. They may not be a wunderwaffen, however they are sure as hell better than a coldwar era T64…the issue is training and logistics for the vehicles, also usability…those tanks are expensive and should be used as such when being handed to them such as the Abrams. I don't think they will be operational for sometime until some training is done

  11. Consensus of this video is the message that there is no point in supporting Ukrainians with arms because they are not able to master these weapons on the battlefield. Ukrainian soldiers have proven to master complex devices, for example PzH 2000 or IRIS-T. if ukrainians are so incompetent why russia still struggling subduing this country why are so many russian soldiers kIA in this country?

  12. I'm no expert , but my understanding no advanced tanks will be sent from anyone in Nato , USA included. Because they know they will either be destroyed or captured giving away what ever technical advantage they currently have in possible future conflicts.

  15. Shut up bozo. Spam me with nerd emojis only after your read this lol.

All the millitary bloggers on this platform seem to think that western tanks will be a nightmare for logistics. Which in some cases it will. But then talking about how easily these tanks can be taken out by atgm's in a blaze of fire is kind of bullshit. Its always the youtubers who put everything in an ideal situation for the enemy or friendly side. Because yes if a leopard is sitting out in the open standing still in a field doing nothing at all it will be killed instentanuously. But this isnt the scenario this tank will be in…. Everybody also seems to think that you can precicely aim at the modules of a tank like an ammo rack in the front or back of the tank this isnt the case…. With tank on tank warfare or using an atgm launcher you aim to hit the target where ever you can. You dont have the accuracy to precicely hit certain parts of a tank. The best you could aim for is front center or back of a tanks side other then that there is no real aiming spots. And thats only when your close enough to aim that presice. But if we take a look at combat footage from ukraine you can see that a majority of the atgm hits/kills are sometimes even 2 km away at wich point you wouldnt even be able to aim from the front center or rear of the side of the tank then you would like i said before just be aiming to hit the tank in general. And now talking about the perfect scenario bs. A Tank isnt gonna sit still out in the open in a field. Its gonna either be in a defense position hiding or covering its vital parts from the enemies direction of attack. For example a trench dug out for a trench would make it virtually impossible to hit the front ammo rack of a leopard tank since so many people think that is just THE weak spot that every single drunk as fuck russian appearantly gonna hit 10 out of 10 times. And if its not in a defensive position its gonna be on the roll making it even harder to hit vital parts like the ammo rack or engine. So place of these modules matter to only some degree. But arent a game changer. Hence why the leopard has increased armour on the front because you only need to protect from what your FACING if you need to protect a tank from the left or right youve already done something wrong as tank commander or as battlegroup commander.

Now pleas spam me with nerd emojis.

  16. Um………those citing the lack of experience of Ukrainian tank crews, are perhaps forgetting that Russian tank crews, for all their experience, are right now being slaughtered in their thousands!

What’s more, given how the Russians have so far failed at every level, it’s likely that as soon as the first Leopards, Challengers or Abrams are seen on the horizon, that Russians will turn around and ‘run like f………………’!😵‍💫
