  2. I love how the media puts those "power couples", that we're supposed to look up to, on a fast-moving conveyor belt and expects us not to notice the theater. Sure enough when the current… thing is revealed to be as dysfunctional as the last, they're tossed aside and replaced with another "power couple" and the charade starts all over again.
I've lived long enough to see it all and reading those braindead comments makes me wonder if we aren't indeed living in a simulation…

  3. God, please hear my prayer. I too desire a union filled with unconditional love, respect, admiration, support, wealth, children, and class. May l meet my partner at the right time and place. And be blessed with a union that is admirable that brings Glory to your name. I pray this into my life. In Jesus name, amen!

  4. when gale said – "wait George, you didn't know if she would like YOU?"……it's like just because he's conventionally attractive doesn't mean she's going to automatically like him. Firstly, statements like that only feed into the false entitlement of men and secondly, attraction doesn't work that way

  5. in their 63 years of marriage, I honestly never heard my parents argue or put each other down in a mean way… They, too, said they were lucky. Both were tolerant and emotionally mature, and had great senses of humor.
