8:05 That's the moon. An apollo Mission. Could be apollo 15, 16 or 17. 11 12 and 14 had too flat terrain for that image. It's easy to find them in Google Earth.
lol i just looked at the iss coverage yesterday because i was putting geoguessr into my informative speech fo my college class and got distracted lmfao
I am an MIT astrophysicist and in the Summer of 2022 I spent a month on Devon Island performing an experiment looking at the beginning of the first stars in the universe. It is a wild, amazing, foreboding place. Very difficult to get there (have to take multiple planes, with the last one being a charter flight), and you have to carry a shotgun with you at all times due to the polar bears. We hopped a ride with the Houghton Mars Project, which has a base up there and runs astronaut tests since Devon is as close to a mars analog as we have on earth.
i thinks its funny how Americans get bullied for their geography, and yet they're consistently towards the top of the leaderboard every time in these videos
I knew about the space thing. On Google Maps with Sat view, then zoom out and far enough you get real time cloud cover, zoom out more and you get a list on the left of every orbiting body in space.
8:20 did bro try to car-meta a mars rover with his mouse???? ๐ญ
3:41 i love how it looks nearly the same as that JHK round with the longitude
7:10 when Geoguessr Mlg Edit?
that much sun in UK is super rare lol thought youd go around Poland rather
On the slovakia round there was a the back of a bollard so it couldnt have been austria or slovenia
3:53 no way ive been exactly there so many times before
That Singapore loc looks like the one in the world cup final that Blinky 5k'd

Bro reminded me of oโRiley and Ozempic at the same time ๐

Very Nice ๐
the way bros eyes widened at 5:44
1:00 the trail sign with the little red roof is i think only found in slovakia or around the high tatra region
Was doubtful until he said looks like Texas pavement
perfect pitch but itโs perfect world
please play timeguessr for a video
Car meta is way too OP in Spaceguessr. Getting the planet right is free
Bro can figure out what road he is on by looking at a single piece of grass but wasn't sure whether that was Mars…. XD
lol i just looked at the iss coverage yesterday because i was putting geoguessr into my informative speech fo my college class and got distracted lmfao
So who can 25k the ISS now?
day 1 asking rainbolt to play geoguessr but the screen is randomly tinted each round

I actually got that mars one on OpenGuessr (free geoguessr alternative) before I got the paid version of geoguessr and I was so confused
maccem should have 8 but its probably all cooked now

9:16 rainbolt's new video: I BECAME THE FIRST PERMANENT RESIDENT OF DEVON ISLAND
Your flick shot on a non existent location is better than 90 percent of my gameplay lol
he finally playing another planet, getting bored of Earth
Space center is in Huntsville, AL, affectionately known as Rocket City ๐ Lot of cool history in/around Huntsville
you only gave Maccem 1 point on ARPZW – 10s
4:48 tame impala reference
Bro will Mars like the back of his hand before we step foot there๐
Oops, didnt mean to reveal Mars is just Earth with a tint.
i actually did know the last 2 space ones since I had researched the locations in the past
it is very cool that google added it in
2:51 different area but yeah both are one of the few "doesn't look like singapore" areas
Bros gonna end up in Hoth

The first one looks exactly
like very little dirt road in south UK, esp. with the stinging nettles.
