Took a few days to out in the Utah desert but we landed a nice deposit of bigger geodes and some fantastic broken pieces. These pits are full of tossed back rock from over 20 years. We have some spots are the dugway #2 pit where we found tons of beautiful agate geodes and petrified wood.
The drive down past the Geode Bed sign has gotten pretty bad since we were there March & April of 2023 so make sure you ride out equipped. The roads also past Simpson Springs heading to Geode Beds has gotten just as bad so beware when driving at night or early morning.
