  1. Okay wait…Genestealers can bring back a full unit on a 4+ and people are mad at Necron reanimation? Okay, I see you internets! Fun Bat Rep, the back-to-back haymakers into the knight and the shadowsword was epic.

  2. I’m so glad I watched this video as my brother got into GSC. Custodes and Chaplins for mortal feel no pains are vital. Also my goodness Nick is rolling like those dice are fire itself.

  3. All these bikes made me think: Is it possible to do a 40k death race game?
    I'd love to see this with each tabletop player zooming around a circuit with their respective favorite army ''bike'' ex: Tak Admech, Nick Genestealer cult, Steve Space Marine, etc… to see who wins, Mad Max style! πŸ˜›

  4. the reroll return mechanic is so swing-y… either it's OP or you overpaid for that ability. Either way, you have to plan for it in some way as the GSC player. it must be annoying

  5. That was SO freakin' close! What an amazing game! I'm a new Genestealers player, so it really heartens me to see them give space marines a run for their money. ❀

    But well fought in both directions, what a game!

  6. For a guy planning on spending less time in front of the camera, I think Tak has been in more videos in the last three months than in the year before that.

    It's good to see! I like his style.

  7. I may be pretty new to 40k Tabletop, as I'm more fond of Warhammer Fantasy as a whole, but you all make 40k seem pretty damned fun. Expensive, time-consuming, and labor-intensive to get all those models looking so damned good…! But fun. Part of me regrets purchasing pre-painted stuff, but… Sometimes, you just gotta admit when you're not good at something, and I cannot hold my hands still enough to handle it.

    I have noticed it has been 4 months since the Eldar were around on the tabletop, and I just got done with a roleplay-based 40k Tabletop Campaign that was a few days ago. So, I've a proposition, in case you all wanna give it a shot.

    Eldar versus… Technically, whatever you want, honestly.

    At some point during the battle, maybe turn 2 or turn 3, Imperial Knights show up and fight alongside the Eldar. The Eldar have to hold out for a time before Imperial Knights show up to reinforce, as they're driving back a shared foe. Be it Chaos, Tyranids, Orks, D-Eldar, what have you. I've joined late, so that's why my army has joined the campaign partway through, and we were facing off against Dark Eldar. If you want to somewhat copy the set-up we had during this campaign, as its an ongoing fight for a planet we called "Teurelbrax 3".

    The scenario is thusly;

    A force primarily made of Eldar Infantry and small-time vehicles of which I don't recall the exact make-up, and its probably best to let you all pick what you like, anyway… Is in a "hold the line" situation, as they're backed against a wall, both metaphorically and literally. Which Craftworld is up to you, but she was playing Iyanden, because the player likes them the most. They were cornered by our Referee and GM's force of Dark Eldar, and had to use a fallen Imperial Knight as cover. After making me wait 3 in-game rounds and when only the Farseer, an OC one that was designed by the player, and about 1/3rd of her force remained, I was called in.

    That fallen Imperial Knight wasn't as fallen as it seemed, and with the blare of the war horn, awakened several other resting Imperial Knights to come crashing down through the Dark Eldar lines. I got fantastic rolls and absolutely obliterated the Dark Eldar and provided respite for the "pathetic Xenos" that were Iyanden. We're working together alongside another player who has Imperial Guard to find an artefact for the Aeldari, and to get the D-Eldar off the planet. After that? Dunno, but the GM has said that it won't end with just the Deldar.

    Point costs are entirely up to you lot, because this is a roleplay-based campaign, and the GM tends to say "when", so to speak.
