  14. Let's go down the issue with this planned event.
    *He threw it together in 2 weeks
    *Has no finalized list of runners less than a week from the start (per a reply he made online)
    *Announced it in the middle of another charity speedrunning marathon (RPGLimitBreak), and will be during another (Prevent-a-thon) so it shows how much he cares about speedrunning and not stepping on toes of grassroot groups that have been raising money.
    *Selling 50 VIP tickets for $50 for a last minute event without much disclosure for what VIP means. How is it VIP when there's no standard ticket? Food is "provided", but not listed as free. With the little time and feedback it likely won't account for diety and religious restrictions.
    *The lack of diversity outside for the racfeatured list
    *Including Moist feels like a but of a faux pas after last year, when he tried to start doing speedrun competitions, but stopped after the third, and was even called out by some runners by how unhealthy it was (check Xem92's vid on it)
    *It could've still been smaller and cozier, but way more organized by hiring and event coordinator or teaming up with a group (like a convention runners, existing speedrun marathon runners, tournament organizers, etc) to make a new, smaller event. Take a few months. This could've been something like The Summit (cozier tournies run by Beyond the Summit for DOTA2 and Smash) for speedrunning, with speedruns interlaced with community barbecues at a rented complex. Hell, I help run anime cons and that wouldn't have been that hard to do the logistics for.

  24. What if instead of Jerma eating hotdogs for an hour in a room, he eats one hot dog every hour for the whole stream. So every hour he shows up somehow, and eats a hotdog before leaving.
