  1. Thanks for playing my track y'all! It truly made my day to see all three of y'all just deeply enjoying it, as well as the kind words in the chat!!! The photos displayed after the desktop setup (roughly at 1:14:49 )are actually from a different gig at the Aspen Music festival and are unrelated to the recording, just another great space I got to work in this last summer. I cannot claim ownership of the LAWO mixing console (thankfully, honestly hated that thing) or the massive concert hall! The recording was done at the Atlas Theater in Greeley Colorado, photos can be found on the discord as well as video of the recording 🙂 My main rig is a mixpre 10ii and my big rig is two Motu 8pre-ES, I have a few other setups but the mixpre get's most of the work done!

  2. Man, this has been the best livestream so far. Its taken me all day to watch in between kids and working at home but wow, some amazing music, i would pay for some of those tracks now as they are! Finished up rolling on the floor laughing at Mark and Sam causing James to go hypertensive! Cant wait for part 2!!

  3. Fun live stream fellas. Very cool for you guys to take the time to go through so many tracks and highlight and critique in a fun way. Sorry i couldn't view it live cause of work but I did catch the replay an hr or so after. Always feels a bit of fun to hear someone else give feedback on your work in the studio realm.

  4. Hi David here, thanks for featuring me im glad you liked my music, the haunting voice effect in monochrome i did with meladyn, i was planning on tuning the vocals on that song but i always found it was missing something when i had it in key even later in that song. I was original planning on making backing harmonies with meladyne but when i dragged each harmony to make a chord i loved the haunting effect and i thought it suited the meaning of that point in the song. I know its not to everyones cup of tea and im not very good at singing in general, but i do like to sing on my own music. The ocean was recorded at my uni studio and mixed in that room on much worse behringer speakers. its aranged from a double bass player jamming and coming up with parts while listening to a drum beat. I then aranged into a long tune and everything else was layered on top of that. I played the drums guitar percussion and drums on that one, one of my friend played the trumepet over it as well. Hope that offers some insight, all the best

  5. That was fun… including the ending when things kind of went off the rails and made James swear =)). Sorry I missed the opportunity to send something from my studio. Looking forward to more live streams. Cheers.
