  14. I fill my containers with organic materials like you but I top my containers with top soil instead of the potting mix because like you said the good stuff is underneath……top soil is a 1.45 usually and potting mix can be up to 7.99 w/tax depending on how big the bag is……

  16. Question;
    How can your totes drain when they tilt back on the chairs? I’ve not found chairs, but I have cement blocks. Gonna put 2X4’s in the holes and set totes on them, that will work. Planting some yellow crook neck squash, cucumber and a green pepper plant today. Need to get some zucchini yet.

  17. I don’t think the rumors are just rumors. I think there will be food shortages. I just heard Glenn Beck from 2 wks ago. He said the US is the largest of import of food in the world!! For all the food we grow, and we’re importing??? Terrible. So everyone, do what you need to to protect yourselves. I’m growing and trying to buy extra. Go to Dollar stores, Dollar General, pick up sale items, even if it’s only 1 item, can things too. Get ready cause it’s coming.

Love your garden, and all your helpful tips today my job is to set up a tote for seeds that I have sprouting in the plastic bags and to set up 2 compost buckets for my front flower garden and my vegetable garden, and to finish filling my buckets on the bucket tower you showed us to build, that's gonna be my Herb garden. 😃 I'll be glad when I have more leaves and all to compost for plant food. I started the compost in the containers because 1- a genius idea and 2- I have a German Sheppard that's almost 1 yr old and he takes my flower pots and chew them up and anything I plant in the ground like roses etc , he can't run away with a tote 🤣😁
