I'm outside Gainesville and my last frost date is March 14th. When would you transplant?
Great video! I'm determined to grow some good tomatoes soon! Loved the tip for fertilizer Friday… I'll be doing that for sure! 👍
I really really love tomatoes but I’m almost swore off of trying to grow them. I live in upstate South Carolina and I’ve tried several different types of planting. First year it was rotten bottom, last two years it’s been blight I think. Also I won’t use anything to kill pests because I’m scared to use anything toxic to humans, animals or good insects. Uncle says you have to use 7 dust and 101010 but I refuse. But I notice you use only hydrogen peroxide BT and something else. Are these things harmful to any bees or humans anything at all? If not maybe I can try tomatoes one more year. Do you have a video on how you maintain pest control, diseases, fertilizing routine, and pruning? It could be a combination of these four things that I can’t seem to be successful at gardening food.
As always great content. I learn something from every video you put out. So mad at myself. I had you on my calendar as a reminder and got busy. Today, after pulling all of my tomato plants out (grrrr) I now see you say to just leave them until the summer. Darn! They did have nematode root infestation but I expected that. Lesson learned. Thanks again for all your advice.
Looking forward to your chicken video!🐓
