  1. If patch 1.0.2 has squashed the myriad of bugs and if a future patch can sort out performance, then there's a good game buried underneath. For now though, these problems are too prevalent. Perhaps one for a future, 'All patched up' episode.

  2. I was wondering when he was gona get to the framerate… For one moment I thought my phone's screen was acting up since the framerate looked so shite it gave me nausea just watching the review… It's inexcusable that a hack n' slash platformer like this was released with such bad framerate when much MUCH older titles on older hardware are superior in every way… Great review guys… Was wanting this when I first heard about it a few days ago but you guys saved me the pain…

  3. damn I used to play Ganryu 1 and it ran flawlessly on the emulator using my window 98 pc. The original is way more stylish and the aesthetic of it portrait feudal Japan really good. The gameplay was awesome too, give the original a chance if you can. I'll try to get a physical when it comes to the US.

  4. As a big Shinobi III fan this looks right up my alley, but even before the reviewer mentioned the bad performance I was easily noticing how terrible it ran. Hopefully the devs continue patching this game so that I can bring myself to purchasing it.

On a side note, I don't understand why this reviewer keeps bringing up the "issue" of there being no continues? They stated that you can find extra lives and that at one point they had like 10 lives stacked. Also, they said you can start on the first act of the last stage you were on (which in my opinion is basically infinite continues). All these things seem to be more than amenable to the player, and sometimes I wonder if people just literally DON'T want to be challenged by games anymore?

  5. I love this kind of game, 2d action platform games are part of my childhood.

  6. When I fell onto some spikes I couldn’t jump anymore, waiting for my death. Also, that second stage is just unplayable. Feels like it’s on 8fps. If that part was better, I would still be playing it.
