Gamuran seems the more unique of the two and I'm playing around with him in arena a bit — the jury is still out.
You touched on it a bit, but for Chimera I do wonder if Opardin paired with an extender like Mikage and someone else with a few continuous heals (Duchess) also in 9 piece protection might make for a wicked combo (with Harima & Teox, for instance).

I actually saw someone on Chimera reaching the point where the Turn Count appears.
When Odin does block damage every 9 turns, he spreads that and everything he has buff wise on the team

Ash with the spead buffs can you do a He-man and dutchess combo?

Loki has buff spread but not as powerful as Gamuran

I’ve been running a gamuran,starsage,fyna,and Taras in live arena and classic, and it is just to fun I haven’t lost a match yet 😂
I got Gamuran recently so perfect timing for the buffs, and crazy thing is I literally built mine the same way as yours! 4 piece stoneskin, 4 piece pinpoint. He's the perfect go 2nd team cornerpiece that way!
