just clarifying about the targaryen incest, they do this to maintain the dragon blood and their valyrian blood, the valyrians did blood and fire magic, the targaryens were high valyrian nobility they are magical beings just like their dragons, many targaryens don't stay sick easily… incest doesn't make them crazy, the famous phrase "when a targaryen is born the gods throw a coin" was made by a targaryen haha Jaehaerys II…and in history only 2 targaryens can be said to be crazy. ..Aerys II The mad king, Aerion Targaryen, there were wise and cruel targaryens… but only those crazy ones, unfortunately the series brought this misinformation about it. one more thing about incest…the targaryens are the last dragon taming family in the world they marrying each other is a political strategy too, they keep the dragon taming ability in the family without the fear of other houses having dragons too
