For the record, Danyerys did translate what Drogo said to her brother Viserys. He actually did say what Dany said and she translated. I didn’t know that for a long time but eventually I watched with subtitles for the Dothraki that Drogo actually said what Dany said as opposed to Dany lying because she knows her brother. I used to think that though before i learned otherwise.

But guiding your friends to your conclusions throughout the episode will stifle their own creative thought process and it will ultimately give us the viewers of the channel less variation and by proxy less overall value from the reaction. This is a reaction channel first and foremost. We aren’t here for the show. We’ve already seen it. We come here for the reactionS, plural, as in more than 1. It’s fine for the 3 who are new to the show to opine throughout the episode because they haven’t seen it. They don’t know the full context of what they are watching and it’s interesting to see how their opinions develop and change in real time. The author would have liked to do something like this, but since all the plots advance in real time, and the other ones can't time skip we were left with some mildly boring plot lines.

Game of Thrones is the greatest television drama in the nearly 100 year history of television (along with The Sopranos). Including season 8. It won an Emmy for best drama for Pete's sake! Yes. It's the weakest season and it was a bit rushed, but it's still GOT. The weakest Beatles album is still better than most albums. All the haters are viewers who are upset that their favorite character didn't wind up on the Iron Throne. They were raised on to many Disney movies.
