  1. 3 things

    1. I did some digging and as it turns out, most people writing these articles have some sort of contract with a "certain company" that pays them to write these smh.

    2. Nobody cares how many players are playing it currently. If it's fun and people wanna play it they will.

    3. I've made 3 sets of breeders: anti-work skill depresso/ cattiva pvp skills/ cattiva work skills and I'll continue to make more builds for whatever I need or want.

  2. I caught Maraith and in my head I beat the game 😂 But anyway, yeah I agree it’s websites needing to hit their numbers for views and what better way to do so then ragebait 🤷‍♀️

  3. Can’t agree more. As a survival game fan, i play a game religiously for 2 weeks and then drop it for a month or two. Then i tend to go back and replay survival games with a self imposed challenge or goal.

  4. The rapid fire notifications of "Palworld Bad" are an attempt to control the narrative. There's big money invested in seeing Palworld fail so players don't unionize against AAA monetization.

  5. quit acting like pussies and name the journalists doing this

say their name call them out by name

have them explain their hate and issue a retraction

there and video game leaker tier lists… we need the same for journalists

put these clowns on the D tier of gaming journalists… the most lame and stupid journalists that should be identified and ignored

if you not gonna call them out by name nothing will ever change all you did was give people the link to give the article more clicks and attention

It's like you cowards are scared

  6. the opinions of "game journalists" are less than worthless. I wouldn't trust them even if they told me that games exist. they barely play any games or just rush through a game to post a review, so that they can start the next review.

  7. There’s even people on Twitter who comment under Palworld’s official posts saying “Trash game” and “This game fell off hard.” Like we get it, you’re salty that Nintendo won’t sue them so you can gatekeep your favorite franchise, but just kindly eff off

  8. Gaming articles frustrate me. I try not to read the anymore. Just read the whole title and you’re good 😅 they try to get clicks. Their articles really are just a bunch of fluff. I hated reading them for ps5 and new console leaks. C’mon guys. At least try to give out decent info.

  9. And I'd bet NONE of these player counts that have been reported by these ass blasted losers are accurate. I'd be willing to bet the player drop off isn't even HALF as severe as they want us to believe.

  10. Most of us have beaten the game, so we're just waiting for an update like you said. 🤷‍♂️ I played for like 2 months and will play again when there is more to do. Look at how many people stop playing WoW two months after the expansion because they've completed all the content.

  11. For a non live service game. Its perfectly fine. People just want to get attention. To me it just shows palworld still turns heads. Im patiently waiting for the next big update. Most of my other friends who played feel the same.

  12. Oh boy. If they only knew what the current playerbase was for NINTENDO's Pokemon games.

Yeah. That's how I see it. Pokemon sells a millions of copies. But I guarantee you that most people aren't playing those mainline games 2 months after their release. So yeah. Lmao.

  13. I've always said that player base on games will drop off, but it only matters when it's a Live Service or always online because you have to worry about the Studio execs shutting the game down. Meanwhile, I agree. I tried playing Palworld for the raid and I had fun going back to my base and going "Aww, I remember trying to make the ultimate Chikpi" but ultimately the raid isn't enough to keep me in especially when it requires running everywhere (at a slow speed) or flying around to dungeons to get the items to start the raid.

  14. everyone needs to dunk on palword. it's a bad game with no passion put into it. i hope it dies completely and games like temtem, even with its flaws deserved all that palword got. if people like monster taming, or just an amazing game in general, they should be playing games like cassette beasts. but i guess the internet is littered with tasteless gamers who will support anything even if it was made unethically

  15. First and foremost, Kindred Fates offers a fresh and innovative take on the monster battling genre. While games like Pokémon have dominated the market for years, Kindred Fates brings new mechanics and gameplay elements that set it apart from the competition. The game features a more dynamic battle system that allows players to control their monsters in real-time, adding a level of strategy and excitement not typically found in traditional turn-based RPGs. This unique gameplay experience is sure to appeal to a wide range of players, including both fans of the genre and newcomers looking for something different.

Additionally, the open world aspect of Kindred Fates sets it apart from other monster battling games. Players are free to explore a vast and diverse world filled with unique creatures to capture and train. This sense of freedom and exploration adds depth and replay value to the game, making it a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch, which is known for its portability and versatility. Being able to take Kindred Fates on the go and experience its expansive world wherever and whenever they want is sure to appeal to Switch owners looking for a new and engaging gaming experience.

Furthermore, Kindred Fates has already garnered a strong following and positive reception from the gaming community. The game's Kickstarter campaign was a major success, raising over $100,000 and surpassing its funding goal by a significant margin. This level of support and enthusiasm bodes well for the game's future success, as it shows that there is a demand for this type of game and that players are eager to see it come to fruition. By supporting Kindred Fates on the Nintendo Switch, players can help ensure that the game reaches its full potential and becomes a beloved title on the platform.

  16. Even looking at MMO's, its normal for player count to spike week of release and go down before finally stabilizing. But Palworld is a hot topic and people love the chance to be negative about it.

  17. It perplexes me why some people want to see Palworld fail so badly. Part of me wonders if it's because people were expecting a shitty meme game to dunk on, but when it turned out to be good some of those people who were hoping for a disaster to mock couldn't let it go and had to start inventing reasons to hate on the game.

  18. I remember they saying the same thing about Hogwarts Legacy, and that game had zero multiplayer at all. These people are either incredibly dumb or just desperate to push their narratives. Maybe both. Probably both.

  19. Really wish Nintendo showed playerbase statistics. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX is dead as hell, it came out like 4 years ago. Lol. If u try to search for rescue missions to take on from other players around the whole entire world, u find like maybe ~20 at most, and it even notifies u that the list will be filled with npc teams due to not enough actual player teams needing rescue.

Every game dies eventually (unless it can be played offline). Doesnt matter how fast or how slow it dies, unless the company is the reason it died such as Love Live 2 having the Overwatch 2 experience with a pointless rework that was in the end made to achieve nothing. The only difference here is that Overwatch 2 is still alive, meanwhile Love Live 2 announced an end of service before it even launched.

  20. If Palworld was yet another Live Service game that wants to hold my soul forever, I wouldn't have played it.
I want to be able to finish games. I have with Palworld. I loved it. But I've finished with it now.
I'll play it again at a layer date. But for now I'm playing Dragon's Dogma 2.
Which I'll also stop playing once I'm finished with it.

It's just drama farming because its a popular title.
It's part of why people don't bother with journos anymore. Very few of them even care about videogames, & most of what they put out is rage bait or politics. They're worthless.

  21. I'm just waiting for the game to get out of early access or just a more complete version. I ran into a bug where I was falling into the world. Keep up the amazing work In the monster taming space let's goo Edd

  22. People still dont realize that Palworld is just a medium game, not even a Pokemon-like game.
The game literally got overhyped by the "hater", permanently free advertising this game by their hate (yes you Pokemon fans).

  23. Things that also don't matter: most game journalist's opinions. The quality of game journalism (and arguably journalism in general) has gone down and continues to. The introduction of generative AI and chiefs forcing quantity over quality makes trash articles on player counts, Reddit comments and the like the norm. This is more than just the motivations and biases of the individual journalists.
