Wow. Please learn about "Mary-Sue". Your story is so full of them that you repeat the same vignette over and over until that's all there is. Just a note" I seriously wanted to read the entire story, I made it to 12:26 before I gave up. That said, you had a lot of interesting elements, but it's formulaic and, frankly, clunky. If you REALLY want to learn to write, get a copy of "Beginnings, Middles, & Ends" by Nancy Kress.
they seem to say the ships shape in a lot of these being aerodynamic or faster but the shape of a ship in space has nothing to do with travel speeds. It wouldn't matter if it was a square or a cigar shape it would move at the same speed. It's the engine that matters.
Good thing totally alien computers were compatible with ours. Id like a pc based on something like this. A single solar system based war with capital ships and fighters and bases. Have the aliens invade a human star system and the humans do what they did here…fight back…reverse engineer alien tech…..go on missions both ground and space. Push the enemy back. A sequel would be about the humans traveling to the aliens solar system to take the war to their homeworld.
So the Gorevac have already overwhelmed Mars. But humans have enough time to develop technology to defeat them? Did the invaders just stop then? Why did they not just keep pushing through?
Also, the fixation of these stories on the flat plane of the solar system tends to get tiring. It exists in 3 dimensions. Why would they attack Mars first instead of just going for Earth directly?
Another story using the "Template"

4000 quatloo's the humans cannot be contained!
Obviously written by some AI. I'll pass.
I hate these AI channels, it's like whack-a-mole trying to block these channels.
I made it to 15 minutes before Mary-Sue overcame me.
thats some serious case of poor writting , not the worst one I've seen but its still pretty bad.

It is total drivel Glaring plot holes
Human beings are the most violent and vicious animals in the world. Aliens be warned.
Sure like to use the word "palpable" quite a bit.
First off, who the hell names an exploration vessel "Vindicator"?!
This story was most palpable. Especially each and every single turning point.

She led the attack in darkness when the sun was switched off for the night!!!

One super-realistic point is that all of the military commanders are women, just exactly as one would expect.
