  1. G. Gordon Liddy was incredibly smart, but with that intelligence came some serious sociopathic/psychopathic traits. A guy I'd absolutely want at my side in a fight or an immediate subordinate in a reporting structure; but someone that otherwise I'd try to stay at least two or three states away from if possible.

  2. Prolly sure Colby's meeting about Hanoi's POWs was before Nixon's statement he was gonna open up a meet n greet with Mao in China… since we knew China was helping being guns n hell to Senator Mcain….it kinda worked out this way. Now we got the most disgusting display of bizarre bad actors I can't even watch the movie – dammit man.

  4. Liddy was quite a character and could be very charming and entertaining, but in the end, he was nothing but a sociopathic, fascism-admiring thug with delusions of grandeur who helped damage this country immensely…we're still living with the after-effects of all the crimes the Nixon White House committed to this very day.

The fact that he became a celebrity and a sought-after member of the media in his later years says a lot about this country, none of it good.

  5. Ahhh Gordon Liddy. He and Ollie North have the distinct honor of being criminals with the excuse that a President told them to do it, who then became heros of the Republican party and television personalities. America is a weird fn place.

  7. not right away…
but later on the show Gordo morphed into what seemed to be a Richard Nixon way of conversing…
reminding me of the Forrest Gump scene :
"oh no… we have a much better place for you to stay" ๐Ÿ˜

  8. G. Gordon was one of those far-right people whose views are horrifying, but who have so much intelligence and personality that you can't help but enjoy watching them.
