Plans for energy companies to offer people discounts for cutting their electricity usage have been extended. Some households have been paid to lower their energy usage between 5pm and 6pm tonight and 4.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday – so, is it a sign of what’s to come?

The energy companies won't give money away. The rest of us will pay more to cover it while the self righteous sit shivering round a candle. A price increase is coming to cover this ludicrous behaviour. When they turn everything back on at 6 then guess when the new peak usage time is 🙄.
