Just wanna say… FIRST. Gonna watch the video now😂
30ish – Great video, thanks for the tour! I love how well thought out your space is.
Yooooo Shane!! Fantastic layout & an overall aesthetically pleasing shop. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. But… 07:18 mark when you mentioned a spreadsheet put me over the top!! From a guy that's done warehousing, shipping, inventory, logistical work his entire life a good spreadsheet always puts a smile on my face!!😂 And… then Boom Shacka Lacka an Eagles decal on the drill press?!?!?🤦🏻♂️ Fly Eagles Fly (I guess), personally you're chatting with a Redskins fan😂😂😂 Blessings Bud, & bring on da awesomeness for 2025, Dirty Jersey out!!
28 F, 16 K, and a few other types. Great shop. I can’t decide if I’m jealous or inspired.
10 clamps. It's… Challenging, but I mostly make small projects like boxes, so it works out okay.
Thanks for the tour! I also put my milling equipment on the perimeter. I like having the table saw and assembly area with as much clearance to swing pieces with reckless abandon.
26 clamps, you have a very impressive looking shop Shane. you definitely put thought into everything. And love all the dad jokes
Hello Shane, thank you for the tour. I think my clamp count is in the mid 80’s now and climbing. I too experience the filter clogging with my Oneida Mini Gorilla system and I like your idea for the mini vibrating motor. How well does it work for you? Would you mind sharing the model you purchased and any tips or secrets for setting it up? Thank you in advance. Love your builds. Look forward to many more.
Nice kit. Just one question, why you didn't went for a combined jointer planer? It would have saved a lot of space.
I am going to SWAG a count of 30, mixed between pipe clamps and F-style… can't afford the nice ones quite yet, and yeah, pipe clamps do the job. And the true answer as you said is, "not enough."
I'd like to do an outfeed table like yours, but have it double as a bench, too. I'd love a Roubo like yours, but I just don't see the money going there when I need some quality chisels, a hand plane or two, a router plane and yeah, a band saw would be epic. Probably will make a torsion box top out of two full MDF panels, and build in some vises. I have a smaller version of that now, and on a torsion box the MDF stays flat, doesn't vibrate, and can be 'refinished' if needed – up to a point. The two 4×8 MDF sheets alone means it will weigh 'enough' to be a good bench. I'm also in a 2.5 car garage, and your video made me realize I've never measured the shop footprint… hm.
You have a few Grizzly tools – if you can compare them via experience, what's the quality of those like? Example would be a Laguna band saw vs. a solid-range Grizzly, I guess.
6 48" parallel clamps, 8 pipe clamps and countless Harbor Freight f style clamps in all sizes. I buy at least 2 every time I'm there!
Which vibrating motor do you use? That's a fantastic idea and now I want to add one to my filter.
12 Rockler panel clamps, 36 Parallel claps of various sizes, 17 Rockler surefoot clamps, 42 bessey F clamps. I also have the AutoScale sleds, I also have the extended fence for the right side to cut up to like 6' wide panels. Getting ready to upgrade my 1F CNC to 48×48 with the PWNCNC ATC. Had to cut 1/3 off my 8×4 assembly table to make it fit, so I'm still adjusting to that. It's going to be an exciting year!
What software are you using for your CNC? I use VCarve pro, never have any issues with it (except the ones I create, of course).
10 clamps that's all I have. It's nowhere near enough. I need more but I have so many different hobby's that I bye tools and materials for that I have been making do with what I have. I'll get more eventually. Stay awesome.
Clamps- not nearly enough. Thanks for the walk through. When I get a dedicated wood shop, I'll keep your suggestions in mind. ❤
How do you run the power to your table saw? By extension cord ? Because I need to move a few things around in mine and ill have to run a cord for the best setup

108 clamps
Parallel:
8-48”, 6-36”, 12-24”
F-style:
6-48”, 8-36”, 8-24”, 6-18”, 8-12”, 12-8”, 4-4”
Pipe clamps:
6-7’, 4-5’, 4-3’
Squeeze clamps:
8-12”, 8-6”
Plus all the corner clamps, bandy clamps and all the small accessorie clamps.
Including all those close to 150
6 Clamps total — 4 spring clamps and two 18” Quick-Grips. Just starting out with my micro woodshop (currently all fits in one 36” cabinet) and will hopefully be adding more soon, for the next project!
Clamps. Always in need no matter how many you have
clamps – approx 50+
Go Birds
I have100+ clamps if you count all the different kinds. Watching this video has convinced me to try putting my table saw against my assembly table again.
Some great inspiration in your shop, I’ve been working on redoing mine now for a few weeks. Love the tools on the wall vs French cleats. Looks much more polished.
150 or so clamps, but as others have said, there are many different types of clamps. Even still, some times I don't have enough.
Clamps! I have fewer than needed clamps! Thanks for the show and keep up the good project work spiced with a sense of humor.
If you want to get some more storage space throw away those junk ryobi tools in that drawer.
69 clamps, I have the same drum sander is a POS! I've never got it to be accurate or track correctly. I'm not impressed with newer grizzly tools they used to be decent but you couldn't pay me to take one.
I don’t have enough clamps. 😂
25 ish. Nice Shop! Excited for the sanding station.
6 clamps (new woodworker!), thanks for the shop tour. I learned a few things and have some ideas to upgrade my little shop! Would love to hear more about the recommendation of combination square and double square. Any video, article, or review links would be appreciated as I'm unsure yet when to use either of these tools over the other, or in general. Thanks for all the great content!
