I love the gameplay design of Furina. Before Fontaine, I was speculating that the hydro archon would be able to either forward or reverse vape depending on burst or skill, but in reality, Furina can cause reverse or forward vape instead depending on application ICD. Clever move, Hoyo. Furina likes double hydro so you get reverse vape there. And you get reverse vape only under circumstances that the pyro character has standard ICD so the no ICD from Hu Tao, Xiangling's no ICD, and Klee's ridiculous amounts of pyro application, through her no ICD CA, the separate ICDs between jumpty dumpty and its many mines, and then her burst in cohesion with the other pyro attacks, all of these apply too much pyro for reverse vape. Then there is standard ICD characters like Yoimiya and Dehya who, at normal attack rates, can reverse vape with just Furina alone. Yanfei and Diluc has controlled ICD on pyro app where Yanfei can control when to CA while not needing to spam it like Hu Tao, and weaving in normal attacks in between his skills which apply pyro each hit.
A ton of words in one paragraph to say that Hoyo has succeeded in making a character that can do either forward vapes or enable reverse vapes and with the numbers to even justify forward vapes. It also makes burning look good and get burgeons so it creates burgeonvape teams, which I play Dehya in.
Her reverse vape damage is still inconsistent even with a double hydro. This is due to her burst, lasering up the enemies. Pair it with her normals, CA and skill, and she applys really really lot of pyro that even two hydro's can't keep up.
Thus, she is more suited to a forward vape team where her extraordinary on field pyro app could be of use.
Additionally, Klee, Bennett Kazu and Furina (which some dubbed Kleerina) is a strong team outputing 15-18% more damage than her monopyro team.
Klee runs MH set tho And Bennet is on a healing build with ER/HP/HB
as a degenerate 1% childe main, i’ve been running childe, furina, jean, and xiangling on both sides of the abyss to clear ~30 seconds- 1 min each floor.
might sub out jean for benny to see if that’ll boost things up but i like my version of international which doesn’t rely on circle impact .
I've been running the Furina Sunfire comp with Albedo as the flex slot. His E lasts as long as Furina's and with them both running Golden Troupe sets, they can do quite a lot of damage, and crystalize generates shields for comfort every couple of seconds when Albedo's E procs. You can set up both before starting the Sunfire combo, as neither use ATK scaling, so they don't really care about waiting for Bennet's burst. I also tried running a Nyancat team for the memes, but it was a bit inconsistent.
Hu Tao works well when her HP is at or below 50%. But Furina's kit has something to do with 50% or above for team… Also, healers in a team means Hu Tao gets healed up (above 50%). How would a such a team work? 🤔
I dont get that furina hutao comp. One wants to be bellow 50%hp the other one above. One needs healer the other one cant play with healer. Its like that hutao bennet team. She will get a lot of attack but there is also lot of attack she would ve gotten if you didnt use bennet
Man trying to figure out ER requirements and rotations with the planners is melting my brain. Idk how people figure this stuff all out. Feels like a big waste of time when I know panic ooga booga with at least a priority rotation system works well enough to 36 anyway.
Been testing the klee setup with nahida baizhu. I think that's a better option than bennett since both klee and furina benefit from the additional EM, while furina doesn't benefit from bennett's attack stats

looking for vaporize teams without Bennet. I don't have him and i don't want to use him. I have Diluc, Klee, Hutao, Yoimiya and Yanfei in my Pyro DPS arsenal. (I also have a Dehya i like to stick in team just for her passives and elemental skill) I have C2 Furina and a C1 Baizhu. any suggestions according to this character list? ( I do have other characters too but for a vaporize team i want to use out of this list) (So many ppl suggest international team but I don't like this team. I don't even have a Bennet. Nor do i have Kazuha. I won't be doing Abyss content, i just want to enjoy overworld daily exploration stuff)
The same way the Real Hydro Archon finally replaces the 4 Star Hydro Archon Xingqiu, makes me so excited for how the Pyro Archon will either replace or make 4 Star Pyro Archon Bennet even better.
I went from really struggling to clear 90 domains with good food (just hit AR 50 but no one is over 80 yet), to doing it relatively easily just thanks to Furina. My only other 5*s are Jean and Hu Tao, so I learned real quick how incredible of a team that can be (XQ and Fischl help too).

Your Benny is healing way to much 8k-9k mine only heals 6.5k per tick 🙁 with nobles ob set, is it enough 6.5k per tick

I tried a lot of combinations between forward and reverse vape and the strongest I found are:
Reverse Hutao-Bennett-Furina-Yelan
Forward
Xiangling-Bennett-Furina-Kazuha
I also discovered that Bennett's c6 is insanely good in both teams

My go to team at the moment is a Sunfire team with Xiangling and Furina. Works decently.
