  1. The Ted Williams jersey 'alteration' is probably the reason his grandma got it. Rather than Ted Williams just giving a perfectly good jersey 'off his back' at request (during a time when players wore the same uniform for the season, or longer) – it was likely damaged below the 'new' hem line and later fixed by grandma – or someone else. That 'problem' with the piece making it worth 250K and not 500K is likely the only reason it still exists today – fans saving something otherwise headed to a wastebin.

  2. The woman with the star brooch/ pendant was so cute! Isn't a brooch a pendant tho? What makes it different? Is a pendant like a thing at the bottom of a nekclace? Sure I could google it but then I'd have to open up another tab and ugh, the work!

  3. Greatest quote of the day: “…cursive. Whatever that is.” 😂 it’s been said that cursive will be the new secret code for elderly in care homes. I thought that was just a joke. Apparently not.

  4. Anyone else catch the woman with the statues that she kept by the fireplace? Where she said she would pass them down to her daughter, and the host asked “does she like them?”. She said “idk she’s never seen them”…. How is that possible if they’ve been in front of her fireplace for 15 years?

  5. Sapphires (Corundum) come in every color, but red Corundum is a Ruby due to the presence of Chromium.
It seemed kind of misleading how the appraiser said that Sapphires can be pink, besides the standard blue.
