In June 2013, an international team of archaeologists uncovered a lost urban landscape deep inside the Cambodian jungle, close to the magnificent 12th-century temple complex of Angkor Wat.
Filmed with unique access, this fascinating history documentary follows the team as they travel deep into the jungle to uncover more about this forgotten city β once the capital of the mighty Khmer Empire and home to a million people β and its eventual decline.

Background music so annoying, and louder than the female narrator…..couldn't watch.
Sound tech on this episode needs to be fired, or spanked badly at least, background music way too loud to hear much of anything else, thumbs down for this reason only.
Unwatchable due to overdone sound.
The volume recording needs work…
Have your video producer listen in mono and discover how the background music is the main and the narrator is lost.
Extremely distracting trying to follow…
Just a simple mono stereo check is all that is needed to catch this simplest sound engineer mistake.
I'm less than 5 minutes in and turning this off.
The quality of video/sound is extremely poor for such an esteemed media production team.
Really interesting and beautiful! Such resources and smart people who made a great deal of monuments in their love of the creator!
Whats up with the sound mix the past few videos? π«
BACKGROUND MUSIC IS TOO LOUD.
another video where the music drowns out the commentary. Why?
Too bad. Mix is a mess.
Seems like a giant ad, for LIDAR, with annoying soundtrack by John Williams.
Would have watched it but the music drowned out the narrative
Not βquiteβ Atlantis. But very cool nonetheless.
This might be a great video if the volume was systematically preserved, consistently throughout; however, when the female narrator is speaking, she is drowned out by the too loud music versus when the males are specking and their volume or clarity of their speech is dramatically improved. It makes it so annoying that I stopped watching after only 7.5 minutes. Thank you.
