Wow, a lot of junk these days.
I brought very nice piece to roadshow. They valued at $3,500-4,500. I bring to store. They offer me $20. I ask them why this? They say sir this is a used dildo. The roadshow fail me.
That Plains Indian child's shirt from the mid 19th century, wow. That belongs in the Smithsonian
ff segment is the "Plains Indian Child’s Beaded Shirt, ca. 1850" and begins at 45;21, ff is mentioned at 50;00.
As an Archivist My heart kept sinking that she was touching the manuscript without gloves
An episode missing David Walker is like a smile missing a tooth
I have loved to watch Antiques Roadshow since I was a young kid. Thanks for continuing to post episodes FOR FREE!
Antiques Roadshow will always be one of television's greatest productions. 🙂
Episode posted 1 hour ago and I am so happy to find other people wainting the minute the new episode is uploaded to watch 😆
I simply love you folks you are so very knowledgeable and I am wondering do you have a list of places you are goin to this year!! I have sliver candle sticks from 1786 and I would love to come show y’all!!
The Plains Indian beaded child's shirt at the end of the video actually made me tear up. The value is amazing, but what made me sad was the history of our relationship with / terrible treatment of Native Americans.
Someday, I hope that piece ends up in a museum.
“Is that what killed him?”
🤣🤣 bruh that’s funny
The guy who reunited the trophy with the photo collage…and then waited years to travel to it's place of origin…I want to buy him a beer.
Beautiful artistic antiques.
The baseball team could afford the fancy trophy because the Chino Mine is the 3rd largest copper mine on earth. Back then it was probably the largest.
Is that what killed him? Lol.
Love the early baseball ⚾️ memorabilia !
I remember Kockla, Fran and Ollie.
Are you sure that the monk is Saint Benedict? Normally Saint Dominic is depicted with the dog and dressed in white with black robe
@Antiques Roadshow I am sadly disappointed that there were very few paintings in this episode. Maybe there will be more in "Hour 2" and "Hour 3" of Santa Fe? Where is Colleen (Fesko)?
The Book of Hours is also known as Liturgy of the Hours.
This show never gets … old. :0)
I was born and raised in Santa Fe in the late 80's and early 90's. As a kid I never really appreciated how much art and culture there is there. Really cool to see people enjoying it this much. I probably couldn't afford to move back lol
The Bradley doll is the same age as me and I'm hoping I'm worth more than 75 bucks 🤔😉oh gonna say that one one of the best jokes i heard when the lady said her late husband carried around that print whenever they moved 😉🤣
LOL, woman with Jean Dunand vase……What? Need to appear or what? People can be so cheesy, lololol…Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS SHOW. But come on people, be yourself..
Haha boodah people, how stupid!!!!!
People can talk about JESUS and GOD all they want to, but if you are not going by the HOLY SCRIPTURES of THE HOLY BIBLE, then you are the babbling cymbals that GOD spoke about. God has nothing to do with catholic, jehovah witnesses, Mormonism, etc. God said, call my house, the house of prayer. Please stop with your ignorance and follow JESUS, not fabled religions. Sigh. I am the mother of this account holder, and have to use it for a few days until get my Chromebook. LOVE YOU ALL, or I wouldn't try to help you understand about the false religions. I studied them all, I prayed and prayed for the truth, until; GOD showed me the truth. Just saying, LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
I freakin LOVE this show!! 🥰😘
If that "coat of arms" does indeed reference either the person/family who commissioned the book or a past owner, the blazon is "Gules, a lion rampant Sable armed Or crowned Or." The closest to that is the arms of the Timperleys of Cheshire, a landowning family that can be traced back to the 13th and 14th centuries and to the village of Timperley, though the Timperley lion was depicted without a crown.
