We’re Eamon and Bec, a Canadian couple who previously lived and traveled full-time in our self-converted Sprinter Van!! When the pandemic hit in 2020 we made the difficult decision to abandon our van in Africa and fly home to Canada. Now we’re here… living at a cabin in the Canadian wilderness! Things are coming to a close after nearly 3 years of cabin renovations. While we will always be adding to, tweaking and finishing up this DIY home project we are ready to tour you around the entire cabin including lots of before & after footage!!

Our son & now daughter-in-law got married on a dock next to the pontoon boat at her families camp in the UP of Michigan. It was perfect! Given how healing the lake has been for Bec, & the joy it brings to you both, my vote is to definitely get married on the dock!

Love all your content!!!! Great job on your cabin, looks so comfy cozy. I noticed when you we’re doing your tea add that your table was water stained. Pro tip lol, apply butter to the area and let it sit . The water stains will disappear. Bec you look amazing, the baby process is so much better than the pregnancy process 😮. While being an amazing experience, it has so many challenges to say the least. Your cabin is beautiful , feel well and Eamon your hilarious.

Congratulations!!! Just an FYI. Get baby a bassinet for the first few months. The crib can definitely wait. The only thing I would recommend is if you want to stay minimal in baby clothes… BIBS!!! Not sure if you have any torn up towels… Amazing burp cloths and bibs. Especially if baby spits up quite a bit. (Saves money)
