Our Aserai campaign rolls on and it’s just getting gnarly. Buckle up!

Alrighty fellas, Wazu and his band continues to cross the sands of Calradia and smash everything, from beer mugs to bandits, that crosses his path.

A loose schedule for this series, looks like this:

New Episode every Friday and Sunday, and sometimes Wednesday. I’ll also mix in some extra/optional episodes covering some of the finer points of the campaign: Companion planning, Weapon Loadouts, Campaign Strategy, Mods used and discussion, and more…

This campaign will (eventually) feature gigantic battles featuring ultra-powerful enemy foes in huge sprawling slugfests, always in UHD/max graphics.

  7. The housekeeping is not necessarily boring when there is a tactical or strategic explanation.

    You took the troops out of the garrison and explained why. This action was a natural extension of the narrative and worth including with a short explanatory note.

    Unless you’re using some form of randomising function to choose which troops you transfer between armies (highly unlikely) then you have reasons and those reasons are potentially insightful to the rest of us, even if they seem trivial and/or irrelevant.

    Doesn’t need to be every single frame but a short “these troops are going here for this particular reason” is way more entertaining and informative than, say, ANYTHING TO DO WITH TOURNAMENTS BEFORE THE END SCREEN.

    Also, that hand cramp is the price you pay for excessive Marshall Baton.

  9. Glad to see you're still going strong with this campaign. When I saw the preview short you put out for a new peasants revolt I was worried you were getting bored.
    Btw I finished my series. The final episode is 39. It's really long and I know you're busy but I'd love to hear what you think of the last 16 minutes in particular when and if you get the chance.

  13. im a vassel and no matter what my troops slowly leave their position in a defense and man the walls,.i give up command and then take back command and they still leave the formation, even on custom battles

  15. I agree cavalry are lackluster; however, I find banner knights with a strong captain or even the player leading them can be very effective as anti-cav and can handily destroy archers or infantry in shield and shock

  17. 56:10 The irony of getting killed by a horse lancer. Another great episode. I half expected a cut scene forcing you to thank Willowbark: "You showed up just in time!" An episode or two ago you showed the start of a battle, then just showed us a highlight or two. You could do this for all your fights and not Auto-resolve anything saving us from the pushovers and saving your army from skewed casualties. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

  18. You're a better leader then me. The guy that ran off and left me out numbered 2to1 would have a javelin to the neck if he wasn't the one that died when the battle first started the second time. That was some BS.
