  2. I had to plant seeds twice this year. The first time I planted seeds none of them germinated. The second time I planted seeds they germinated. I planted corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. The corn and the tomatoes are doing pretty well, but my cucumber plants were producing flowers. However, they died, and I am still waiting on my pepper plants to produce flowers. I guess Mother Nature works on her own schedule, so I will have to see what happens!

  3. Red noodle beans are an easy win for an arched trellis takeover. Even if you don't like to eat them, they are stunning hanging from the trellis. They are yummy young stir fried. It only takes about 1 bean per person.

  4. Your garden looks spectacular, Becky! Did you know you can make Zucchini flour? I am going to try making some with my larger zukes. It should be a fun experiment and using zucchini flour is a great way to get more nutrition into our food!

  5. Your garden is gorgeous, a true inspiration and you’re definitely the Energizer Bunny!!! Now I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with all you’ve harvested. So I heard to mention your San Marzano tomatoes but I think you should inform folks that they’re actually San Marzano “style” tomatoes and not the true product. To be called actual San Marzanos, they have to be grown in a very specific area in Italy where the soil from Mt Vesuvio helps to make them so delicious. Thank you for all you do!

  6. I am dying to figure out where you found dragon tongue pole beans. I can only find them as bush bean seeds. I’ve grown rattlesnake pole beans that look similar but would love to try growing these. Where did you find them? Pretty please share! 😊 Also I am in the south so yes, the tomatoes are dying back a bit but if I prune back my indeterminate tomatoes they’ll come back in the fall. Plus I’ve replanted more determinate ones for fall as well. Cherry tomatoes usually power through pretty well in the heat so I plant lots of those. Our main growing season here is fall especially for brassicas so I’m getting more of those seeds planted this month along with my short day onions for next year. Crazy days!

  7. I love this video so much!! All the volunteers, a coffee cup 😊, you throwing weeds over the fence…all the things! Your flowers have been spectacular…when you said you wanted a lot of flowers this year I never dreamed it would be like this. The harvest you did today made me so happy…tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, jillions of peppers, those onions, etc. 😳 Abundance!! The pumpkins 😊 I've never had a garden…living vicariously through you is amazing!!

  9. Bugs, Bunnies, Birds and Squirrels! 😂. Great harvest. I’m going to order from floret this year. I did a test in my front garden bed with just everyday zinnias and some dahlias. I’m going to leave the dahlias tubers yarrow and alyssum (if they come back) in and plant florets zinnias next time. I got some good bouquets from the planting but I’d like to up my front yard game. It looks a mess now as I’ve had some health issues that have kept me from being out there but I’m on the other side of that, thanks to prayer and looking forward to what’s coming next! Got to get the drip irrigation in place. That’s the game changer there. I’m in Texas zone 9b, formally 9a. 😂 Beautiful as usual! 💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤗

  11. Becky if you are wanting a beautiful plant to completely cover your trellis's might I suggest you read up on Purple Hyacinth Bean. It's an heirloom flowering vine with quite a history. I live in zone 7b and I find these vines to spread like none other. I use them to provide shade for my various bird feeders. They are quite beautiful.

  13. What a lovely garden! I am in Houston and most all of my crops are burnt up from the heat and have already been chopped and dropped. I have one tomato plant, some herbs and 3 zucchini's that are still going. We have a few more weeks of close to three digit temps before we can start our second summer season. I love to see how different things are in different parts of the country.

  14. Hey, I live in Ridgefield and we have lots of deer and rabbits they don’t bother the square/ pumpkins. They don’t like the prickliness of the plants I grow them in an unfenced area no problem.
