Yeah played it on a switch. Man ohh man how the grpahics LOOK SOO BAD. I will buy it when it hits Console i feel bad forn my friend even he said WTF IS THIS JUNK.

Always knew it'd go this way, it looks even worse too after we've had some great RPGs like this this year
What a huge disappointment, this publisher makes truly awful remakes that looks soulless and cheap. This time not only it looks terrible but the game is rewriten with worse english than in the DS version and with questionable changes. I have no hope for the FM2 remake that somehow, looks even worse than this!!
Play the DS version!
If someone wants to play Front Mission for the first time in 2023, should they play the original PS1 version or the remake (price not being an issue)?

Ouch! A 5 out of 10 is rough! I still need to play this and try it out for myself. I was just too excited for this release to not give it a try. But thank you for the honest feedback, at least I know what I'm getting myself into.

Ah man thatβs a bummer. Could you target specific body parts in the DS port? I seem to remember that being a default option, but maybe Iβm just misremembering

I tried to enjoy it but it's terrible every move misses and hits random bodyparts when it wants to and not to mention your almost always out numbered I want my money back….
"cant target body parts" sounds like every Front Mission game sticking to the roots.

I was hesitant to buy this lucky I waited for the reviews. As a front mission fan I am saddened. I hope 2 and 3 will fare better. Will pick this up on a sale. I bought Romancing saga minstrel song instead. It's awesome. Now that's how you do a remake!

According to some interviews, Royd is supposed to be the character's name.
as someone who played this game as fan translate, the heros name will always be YerLe to me π

For better or for worse, it really is just the original game with 3D graphics. Forever Entertainment is gonna have to step up the game hard by the time they remaster Front Mission 3.
While I agree with all the points in the review, it's still worth playing if you're new to the series as I am. I can't see much of a reason to play this again though if you have played it before.
