From Broken Pieces I Repaired Swans and Ducks and a Bird. I had to give them a place to swim.

When I started sorting through broken pieces I wasn’t sure if I could create much of anything. I washed all of the broken wings and heads. Looking at what I had in front of me I decided to let the animals come to life however they wanted. I was hoping and praying I didn’t have more than a dozen leftover parts. This is what we have. The last one I painted was the mallard. I couldn’t resist making him different from the rest. With everything painted I thought about hot it was turning out to be. With the weather at a toasty 98 degrees, what these water birds needed was a place to swim. Grabbing a heavy plastic container I wasn’t using, I had quickly made a pond and waterfall. Instant duck hangout.
