Well, let’s forget about these burning questions for a moment and instead I want to show you all of C0 Ayato to C6 Ayato constellations as well as showcase his insane damage potential he can get from some of these upgrades. This video also covers R5 Haran Geppaku Futsu sword that Ayato can utilize to max power as well as show you just how busted C6 R5 Ayato can get!
PLEASE Note: My damage calculations may differ from other content creators or theorycrafters as I simply take all 15 hits (or 18 hits at C4) and compare the damage difference with C0 and constellation when all critical hits are landed. This is by no means a video that fully details the actual mathematical potential and it’s more of a fun way to look at Ayato’s strength with constellations by using as few numbers as possible!

I won't pull on Ayato banner because ik that there is a more badass character coming in 2.7
Ayato's C1 extra 40% dmg works like a hydro cup. That's why you dont see much of a dmg increase. A normal ayato already has at least a 100+46.6+35+20=201.1% dmg, hence why his C1 ends up increasing his overall dmg by just 20%

You might want to add a disclaimer that his c2 is misworded and doesnt work they way it says. You get a 50% increase from the base hp instead of the max hp.
I was about to top up until I came across a youtuber pointing this out. Saved me some money from being cheated.

To be honest there were a lot of things that could go wrong wiht Ayato`s gameplay, like maybe he pushing back enemies, or not dealing aoe hydro dmg with his E…. I am pleasantly surprised that he works well with Kaeya and Venti, his e is spammeable , doesn't feel like he has huge problems with ER, and is so satisfying to play with him, I really like characters taht doesn`t rely on their brust to do dmg thats why for me he is so comfortable to play on the open world… anyways its was a great surprise, tho of course he has some weak points like every other character on the game. Ayato is great and feels somplete at c0 i like him a lot plus he is beauty 😊😊🙌🙌

He's fun to play even at C0, but it would be nice to have the money to just whale on a character for fun. I can't level Haran to 90 until tomorrow (when the stupid enemies that drop the scales reset) and can't crown his skill until Monday (Raiden's hands lol) but when I do he's going to be great 🙂 I also have a trash hydro goblet on him so he'd be god tier with just a little more crit damage. My game, apparently, only believes in geo damage goblets.
Honestly I put ayato with albedo which can be a problem if you use elemental skill of ayato and you somehow elevate with albedo elemental skill, ayato can't plunge while using ayato elemental skill
I'm so glad they realized their mistakes with Yae Miko and made Ayato have almost no end lag on his moves. They tried too hard to make Yae Miko have stylish animations, which ended up making her skill a pain to use (the fact that she's not invincible at all during the movement doesn't help either). Ayato's skill flows extremely well with dashes in between. You can do a slash, immediately dash away, and immediately do another slash. It actually feels like you're playing a powerful anime main character that just unlocked some secret OP ancient power and the enemies can't even hope to catch up with him.

My ayato is level 60 c0 and his damage is competed to my itto who is maxed
I don't really mind if he can do even 200k dmg with each NA, at the end whales are funding mihoyo's staff for us

Constellations for this kind of characters is only for whales, and it is no surprise that every new 5 star character is "amainzigly" powerful with them constellations… until the next new character come out., obviously.

C6 ayato is just very broken, you don’t even need ER just wait it out while rotating the team. All those enemy drain energy will be kinda not a problem now for Ayato

Genshin is my first gacha game and as someone who's a bit of a completionist it just hurts so much to never be able to get the full potential of cool characters like Ayato. I'm forever stuck in C0 hell and it sucks.
