From a Poor Boy to the Chocolate King: The History of Hershey

Although Willy Wonka was a completely made-up story, the famous chocolatier could have had a real-life prototype. His name was Milton Hershey. He was determined to become successful in his favorite business – chocolate-making. Despite several failed attempts, he never gave up on his dream. And when he earned his millions, he still remained a kind and caring person.

  2. Some more info on Mr Hershey (I did a biography on him years ago so I know a thing or 2)
    1) The people that were farming the cacao had know idea why due to it being an extremely bitter plant and one day Hershey visited the workers and gave them chocolate for the first time.
    2) The Hershey Kiss was named so due to the machine looking like it was kissing the conveyor when it placed the chocolate.
