In “Frog Dreaming,” an adventure film set in 1986 Australia, young American Cody, played by Henry Thomas, explores the mysteries of Devil’s Knob National Park. Living with his guardian Gaza after his parents’ passing, Cody’s curiosity and inventiveness lead him to uncover local Aboriginal myths about “Frog Dreamings” and the dreaded Bunyips, mythical water monsters. His investigation centers on a lake rumored to be the home of a Bunyip named “Donkegin.” The adventure deepens with tales of the Kurdaitcha Man, a supernatural enforcer of ancient Aboriginal laws. As Cody delves deeper, his discoveries challenge the local legends, leading to a suspenseful and enlightening conclusion that intertwines myth with reality, leaving the essence of adventure and mystery alive in the hearts of Cody and his friends.

I remember watching this movie when it came out, being the same age as the cast. As soon as I saw the intro clip, I immediately recalled 'Donkegin'! Lol! I used to have a crush on Rachel Friend back in those early days, including her spot in neighbours. Ah, the good old days.
I used to love going in the scrub and quarry as a kid. Something they do not show in the movie is riding bikes round but NOT getting immediate flats due to 3-cornered jacks, wee little seeds like tacks which used to stick in our tyres. Always a bugga! Lol!

The Losers It was about 5 guys put in the army riding 75 cc motorcycles tru Vietnam kicking but think it came out about 1975 we saw it on laser disc it was really stinky dumb.

The movie was one of discovery and adventure with a magical dash of scares to keep the viewers intrigued and entertained.
I truly enjoyed the movie very much. The ending was rewarding by revealing the truth of the ledgend only to the young boy who began and successful completed his quest.
