We dive back into a new demo from Celestria Games in a cold winter survival game that actually did manage to pull me into it this time.

Lol? this looks like a copy of the long dark…. even Canada Flags there 😀 does it have Multi Player Options?
That's the fancy part of Canada. Great Bear is truly run down
Makes you really appreciate TLD. This has better graphics on a technical level (and some of the insides and the vehicles look pretty nice), but the environment still looks worse. Movement also seems to be a bit float-y
Dude you completely missed the gun lying right next to the 9mm ammo…
This game is completely different from TLD. In TLD, it always shows the characters bare hands whether you have gloves or not. In this game, it always shows gloved hands, even when you don't have gloves. See, completely different.
Edit: After rewatching, I don't have high hopes for this. While it can be argued that there are no original stories, this feels very derivative. The Thing among other stories come to mind. It also feels very heavy handed and a story like this needs subtlety. That's why the original The Thing worked and the 2011 prequel didn't or why the original Dead Space worked and Dead Space 3 didn't. The crafting system looks like a bloated mess with far too many things that are required only once to continue the story. Also, were those penguins at the end? There are no penguins in Canada. I suppose they could be auks, but I think they're meant to be penguins. I know I'm nitpicky. I do my best to control it. For example, most bears should be hibernating in winter, and animals like moose and deer lose their antlers. I can generally control my nitpicks, but . . . Anyway, it feels too in your face. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt these developers can pull off a satisfactory experience.
If you go straight left after the initial vehicle and keep to the left, there's a path that leads to a tent with the hat and an axe
