What started off as best friends, became bitter rivals. You've seen it plenty in animes. What a backstory for Jugo and Bazz. Jugo did not needed to be abused by his uncle like that and that hot Quincy girl along Yhwach didn't have to do all that to Bazz's mom and his home. Jugo felt betrayal from Bazz B and Bazz B felt envy towards the person he called a friend. Wild… This episode was top notch like all of cour 3
No anime does title cards like bleach, it's crazy, because the title cards really know how to up the feels with the message it's trying to convey 😂

Being a fan isn't being parasocial it's moreso the "fan" being overly obsessed/invested into someone's life when that someone doesn't even know them. It's very common in streamers who farms clips for engagements cause them everyone is like so n so is dating blank, or this person is doing this off stream, etc etc

Someone pointed out Jugram's hair is covering his eyes, and the single wound Bazz inflicted on him left a blood stain that resembles a tear.
Also when Jugram walks up the steps, he normally stands upright and walks tall and proudly, but this time each step he takes his body sways and staggers heavily, side to side indicating that he’s hurt within.

Can’t even blame Jugram for joining up with Yhwach tbh. He’s the reason Jugram’s shitty abusive (even alludes to his uncle SAimg him, unfortunately) ended up dead. Jugram never really had a reason to hate Yhwach like Bazz-B did.
This episode was quite literally fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥. One of the best episodes in the whole TYBW anime so far imho.
I also really love what they did with the episode title putting the END part of FRIEND in red.
Bazz and Jugram had quite the fond friendship back then. Really sad with how things turned out the way they did all cause of Yhwach. Bazz wanted to hate Jugram, yet admitted at the very end that it didn't hurt as bad as he thought it would. Jugram didn't want to have to kill a former friend, yet had to put him down with that very same sword he gave him back then.
A really tragic story, indeed.😢

I just realized why Jugram doesn’t like being called, "Jugo", it's also a nickname his uncle uses. Judging from those bruises and his uncle saying "My Cute Jugo" in the manga(Ch.631) that name probably brings back some traumatizing memories.

As a manga reader, this is one of the moments I was really looking forward to seeing how it would be adapted. Jugram and Bazz B's battle is more emotional than anything else & the tension was so high. The multitude of emotions ranging from anger, betrayal, regret, remorse and camaraderie all mix into one final confrontation that neither could escape from. The team added a few more original scenes, such as Yhwach destroying Bazz's family. It's always tough watching a friendship end in bloodshed, especially when one tried putting off the inevitable for so long. I really enjoyed this episode and I'm glad that y'all did too!
