  1. Sarah, you are amazing! And happy heart anniversary. ❤️🙂. Glad you got the med fixed. And I will be the old mother hen here, don’t ever be afraid to call and find out what that team suggests. That is why it’s a team. No matter how small. And what a beautiful gift from your author friend. Hope you can get the rest of the books😊❤❤❤

  2. Oh Sarah, you are such a strong lady. You’ve been through so much in the last few years and just a fraction of what you’ve tackled would have broken a lot of people. But you’re still fighting and determined to live a full life. I’m so honoured to know you, even if it’s just through a screen. And don’t apologise for your emotions- remember a couple of months after I got my first premmie home and all the health visits and appts had calmed down a bit, it was in that quieter time that the weight of what we had been through hit me, and the shear gratitude that my baby had fought and lived. I was an emotional mess for a bit and that’s so out of character for me. It’s just part of the process I think. Take care my lovely, wishing you healing xx

  3. You are such an inspiration. You put ordinary life complaints in perspective for sure. You've been constantly in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. So glad they figured out the nausea issue, that had to be awful! Hopefully you have some kitty nurses with good bedside manners to ease your recuperation!

Love the Australian book covers and that bag! They look vintage-ish.I had no idea that Australia and New Zealand had their own lines. Super cool.

oh — and Happy 1 month anniversary!

  5. You are doing so great Sarah. One month! Congratulations! You go right ahead and be emotional! We're all emotional right along with you. I'm so glad that they've gotten the nausea issue under control and that you are starting to feel better. Thank you for this update. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. Sarah you look healthy and amazing. ❤ The biopsies sound horrible 😢 I know it's necessary but dang can they not give you a Xanax or something to take when your on the way to the procedure? That would really help the anxious anxiety. I am a donor always have been. 😊 I will continue to keep you in my prayers for healing mind and body. You are such a courageous woman my friend. ((Hugs))

  7. Happy Anniversary ! Yes, nurses are awesome. I owe many nurses my deepest gratitude for how well they comforted me during some difficult and scary times.
You look great and I am so happy you’re doing so well.
    Oh, those books are beautiful!

  8. All 4 of those books are available on Amazon Australia. I'm from Australia and have bought from the US Amazon in the past. Will it let you ship from AU to Canada? Sometimes it won't allow shipping of certain items because of licensing issues. If not, I could buy them and ship them out to you.

  9. I'm glad that you are feeling better. Nurses are the best. I saw some of my nurses from my orthopedic team when I went into physical therapy this morning. They were so sweet to me when they heard how severe my pain was. They told me if I needed them to call my doctor they would do that for me. My nurses on my congenital heart clinic are amazing. They are family to me since I've known them for my entire life.

  10. Please don't apologize for being emotional! You have every right to be emotional. I, for one, am being emotional right with you. Health wise, I wish I could be a donor. I have several friends & family members who are transplant recipients. Kidneys, liver, and double lung. I am so thankful that theirs & yours have all gone so well. Thoughts & prayers for your continued healing. ♥️🙏

  11. That Outback Nurse cover is amazing! I hope you can get other book from the series, they all look stunning! It got me thinking, and I am sorry if that is not the question to put here in comments, but is there any way one could send you a postcard for Christmas? A PO box or something like that? If you're comfortable with it, of course. You really enjoyed postcards in your other video, and I would love to send you one, if you're OK with it.
    And happy Anniversary!

  12. Where I live (Paris), everyone is registered as an organ donor by default and you only notify them if you want out, which I think is terrific. The Delores Fossen is on my TBR (Kindle, not audio), wondering if I should bother now 😂

  13. So glad you are feeling better and that they have adjusted your meds. Please do not apologise for tears, you have been through a lot and your are still dealing with a lot. Maybe ask the next Dr who does the biopsy to chat with you during the procedure, also if he presses too hard on your neck then tell him. The Dr's need to be told these things, not just for you but others as well.
Hope the audio book improves. What a delightful pressie.
Have been on the donor list since I was in my 20s.
