This is the 2nd Mario ’85 PC Port mod to come out, well the first one was more like a fan-made mod so vs MX demo is a little bit more official. This time we play as Pico and he must battle MX, but there is no lore so we don’t even know how he got inside the Super Mario Bros Game in the first place. At the end of the song, Girlfriend saves Pico from being killed by MX. As of now, Boyfriend does not appear in the mod but the game files do show him battling MX and characters who look like Luigi or Lucas, Wario and Princess Peach.

MX is a soul-stealing monster who took over Mario’s body and transforms into an evil creature in a similar way to Sonic.exe. Some people refer to him as Mario.exe, but his name is actually MX. Will Pico and GF escape from this new foe or will Pico and Girlfriend lose the battle?

  3. 1: TMW MX shows more control and feels more like an imposing threat in his demo than Sonic.exe did in his entire mod. Sad.

    2: Lord X and MX being chill friends is the most badass thing I could ever imagine. LOL Now one day we're gonna have a Mario PC Port/Sonic.exe team up mod. I just hope its as good as the Trollge Incident mod.
