  7. Yay! Whitty is back! To think he'd be gone for so long, the possibility of his return unlikely… And yet, here he is, out of the shadows and into the spotlight!

    It's good to see him again, brings back memories from the first time I saw Whitty. It was a simpler time. Hex, Tricky, Zardy, and Garcello weren't a thing yet, FNF was young, and Week 7 didn't exist yet. To see the OG mod that inspired so many to start modding FNF, and be very well made, it was breath-taking. Whitty was the one to inspire everyone to be a mod creator, the one who awed many to the modding scene, and perhaps the first successful FNF mod to stand out from the earliest mods (most of which haven't been heard of or ignored, IIRC).

    For a time, Whitty was the symbol of the FNF Mod Community, the OG, the One who inspired many. Heck, there are cameos of Whitty in countless mods! Even the idea of a mod with a rival who starts out chill but progresses to anger and an increase in difficulty and a transformation to show it off, that came from Whitty. It was new, fresh, and inspired many to do the same.

    Alas, it was not to be. While Whitty may have inspired many, flaws were present that became noticeable: Charting that was… questionable at best and horrid at worst, the formula of 'chill rival gets mad' was used in so many mods that pointing it out, avoiding it, or subverting it was about as common as playing it straight, and the fact that more mods came out with new ways to play other than note density. Sure, Whitty has improved ever since the likes of Garcello, Tabi, AGOTI, Sonic.exe, Tricky, Ruv and Sarvente and Hex came out, but those came a long way after his release.

    And then… drama came in. First, there was the X-Event with Nyx The Shield, then Sky and bfwifeforever, Mid Fight Masses and the (admittedly) bad charting, and the one that very nearly ended Whitty: The Tabi Drama. Long story short on it, sock.clip noticed the similarities of Tabi's third song to Whitty's Ballistic and critiqued it, folks online decided to harass Homskiy for it, and Whitty's mod went offline. To see the idol of the FNF Mod Community go away… it was heart-wrenching, almost like a family member or close friend had died. It left a huge impact, one that touched all who witnessed it.

    And to see Whitty return after all of the chaos and madness, it's a moment worthy of rejoice! I'm truly happy to see him back, especially since Whitty inspired so many people, myself included, to make mods for Friday Night Funkin'. Normally, I make comments short and to the point, but there are rare times I make comments like this, speaking my mind and letting it flow.

    Give thanks to the ones who brought him here (NateAnim8, sock.clip, Kade Dev) and wish them hope for the future of FNF mods. I give my best wishes and I wish everyone a funky time!✌️

  18. Whitty week 2 is Whitty before he was turned into a bomb. Daddy Dearest stole his music, and then cursed him. The curse turned Whitty into a bomb, so that if he made any more tracks that blew-up, he would too.

  26. I love the contrast between Whitty and Julian.
    Whitty's ballistic mode is his rage-breaking point and is limp and livid.
    Julian showcases his own earlier on to show that he's getting real and is much more excited and firm without a hint of fury.

  29. whitty coming back makes me want to do my mod more, but also doubt my mod idea at the same time, especially since i only have a music maker and some artist, but that's it, i need everything else and someone who knows what they're doing to guide stuff, but i have no money for any of it

  33. Im so genuinely happy to see Whitty & the creator come back. This mod is absolutely OUTSTANDING AND LORE PACKED The designs, the music, the lil quick quote- all of it is absolutely killer. I'm so happy
