I’ve been trying to upload this mod for a very long time now, because I’m genuinely in love with it, but I could never find the time to get it out. I’m glad I can finally show it off, because it’s absolutely INCREDIBLE. As a huge homestuck fan myself, this mod was so damn good in so many ways, especially since Dave is one of my favorite characters in the comic (my favorite one is Vriska hehe). It’s insane how well everything here fits with the homestuck vibe, from the cool voice of Dave and just the overall Dave’y vibe for the song to all the different visual effects going on! I absolutely LOVE the fact that Lil Cal bops to the beat and you can actually see Dirk moving it around very quickly, it’s such an awesome detail! Then that meteor transition, my god everything about this mod is just so cool! Even the crows look really well animated! You can totally see how every little thing was considered and very thoughtfully made, love all the art and ideas in this mod! And as if all of those things weren’t enough, the song is such a banger too, this mod truly has it all. Especially with the sweet bro and hella jeff segment, they absolutely nailed that too hehe. I’d kill for the team that made this mod to make a full on homestuck mod, it’d probably be so amazing! Can’t wait for more updates to this mod! Hope you guys enjoy!

  4. Wouldve loves it moresterest if artstyle is in MSPaint but dang this is good too! Dave finally getting to spit his bars on our Blueballed Pixie. Also Hella Jeff and Funky BF is my favorite comic :y

  7. You actually can see little afterimages of Bro moving lil Cal on background.

    I also hear leitmotif of Dave's theme "Beatdown" at 0:25.

    And background changes because of meteorite falling at Dave's town in comic.

    A nice share of little details matching or directly referencing the original series is always cool to see in mods.

  33. Damn, finally a Homestuck mod, not only is Homestuck important on newgrounds, but like…there's just a lot of potential content to put into a Homestuck mod that could be really fun. And also Homestuck has a lot of music, made by Toby fox, that could be remixed/references in songs

    Hell, it was done well here with Beatdown.

    If we don't get a full Homestuck mod(I'd be down to help work on one, or at least try and help), we at LEAST need to see BF vs Lord English or Ultimate Dirk.
