  1. Last purchase was The Young Gods – Play Terry Riley In C. I bought it just today from their website. Unfortunately, Their label now is just a small label in Switzerland so distribution is an issue and therefore it was best to order directly from them.
If you're interested, they put a live recording of the album on Youtube, just search The Young Gods – Play Terry Riley In C. It's quite an experience.

I'm in south of France right for the next couple of weeks, so I plan to hit the local record shops, maybe find some interesting records.

  2. Hi Frank, on the subject of soundtracks why don't we see more of movie soundtrack reviews? Just off the top of my head I can think of so many great titles worthy of review. Something for thought, thanks.

  3. So when is Max going to have a give-away contest?
Your description makes Children of the Sun sound like 60's west coast band It's a Beautiful Day. Definitely hippy dippy with female singers, violin and fuzz guitar. Their first album was a little bit of a grail in the 70's because it was hard to find, had an iconic cover and a semi-hit with a song called White Bird (in a golden cage). They were an underground radio staple.

  4. Hi Frank! So me and my boyfriend discovered your channel recently. I think the first video I came across from you was the 30 essential vinyls to own. I subbed straight away! I love your videos.
The recent vinyl I got is Gojira's From Mars To Sirius, signed by all four members! It was an amazing concert. Saw them in London just 2 days ago

  5. Brotha! Greetings from Edmonton again. I was thinking that I was missing your videos, and why had I not seen anything for ages on my feed. Just checked your channel which I'm subscribed of course, and noticed you have a slew of new videos. All my other subscriptions if I occasionally see their videos or not, keep coming up in my feed. What do you think the reason is that yours won't appear in the feed? Not a big issue but was curious if you knew of some weird youtube technical issue.

  6. I love the soundtrack to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Pt 2. It has Concrete Blonde, Oingo Boingo, Timbuk 3, etc etc. I had it on cassette back in the 80s, and those were awsome days.

  7. Great video Frank!
Some cool stuff for sure. I love learning about all these new things music and entertainment related. I really like your friends new (old) amp and tuner.
    Keep on spinning Frank πŸ‘
