Way up north or ohio we use hydrants . Basically pipe with shut off below ground freeze.3ft. So the shut off is buried in the ground around gravel so when you shut it off it drains what is above ground. Woodford mfg yard hydrant.
That is crazy. My family and I were out in San Marcos TX just last week and it was in the 80's. Weather does change fast. Now back in NY and we got snow.
Freeze Miser to the rescue! Bring on all the comments of how it’s not even cold here 😂 Yall stay warm and have a good day! Keep Ranchin!
It’s cold as all get out this morning!
Love those things, used them for the last big freeze

So it's like a car thermostat for your spigot that's awesome
They’re awesome!
Started using them last year and I love them.
We use them on our farm here in Louisiana but they only seem to last one winter. But it’s better than fixing a busted pipe in the cold!
We used those this year too and so far they are working
They work great – we use them on our ranches as well.
You can hear the peterbilt loping in the background. Lol
