God works his purpose, the purpose he had before Adam and that purpose is that he would sum up the whole creation in his Son Jesus Christ. Who would then join himself to mankind and bring mankind into union with the Trinity. That is the only purpose of God. Jesus didn’t come because Adam fell – he was coming anyway because he was always the purpose.
