Phil falls off twice in this enthralling installment 🙂
I was asked if I wanted to go on another trip to Fraser Island, and I had fun last time, so I thought – why not? It was good riding over there with Michael on his kitted out 690, so let’s see how it is with Phil and Jack on 890 Rallys and 4 other guys I’d never met.
Paul was on an 890 R and Johnny on a 701LR and 2 Kato 500’s rounded out the group 🙂
It’d only been a few months since I’d ridden there, so I was pleasantly surprised to find several routes I hadn’t done before, and also explore some good alternate track options for having fun getting from point A to B around the lakes.
It was good to ride with a like minded group of riders, just having fun being the number 1 priority on most of the riders minds….as you can see by their interesting line choices in places, lol.
This video is of us riding north to as close as we could get to the lighthouse from Wathumba camping area on the western side – which I’d never ridden to before. The tracks were generally easier to ride than when me and Michael rode here, since they were almost all much more firm as they had been rained on each night.
